ORIGINAL TENNIS PAINTINGS
The Art of Tennis
I am a contemporary artist and an amateur tennis player based in Harpenden, Hertfordshire, UK.
I paint the places, moments and connections that give tennis its character - from familiar courts and changing seasons to the relationships formed across the net.

TENNIS CLUB PROJECT
Painting the Places Where Tennis Lives
Beginning at Harpenden Lawn Tennis Club, I am creating a growing portrait of club life through its courts, seasons, clubhouse and people.
The Tennis Club Project is designed to develop over time and connect with clubs beyond Harpenden.
ABOUT
Tennis Has Always Been More Than a Sport to Me
I love playing tennis, and this beautiful sport gives me so much inspiration off the court as well. I’ve been painting for the last eleven years on a variety of subjects, but none of them has brought me as much joy as painting tennis.
From an artist’s perspective, every aspect of this sport is worth capturing - the geometry of the court, changing light, seasons and surfaces, not to mention the concentration, tension, frustration and joy that unfold around the net.
Let’s enjoy the art of tennis together!
